Winter Shutdown

The Temple is shut down for winter maintenance from February 10-24.  We have been fortunate to have some great weather the first week, so that's when we took advantage of getting a lift so we can do some pruning on our evergreen trees.  We are trying to allow more light to filter through the tree canopy to the shrubs and trees below.  This will help help keep all the plants vibrant and getting the sunlight they all need.  We also had some volunteers come to the temple Monday night and help polish the statues and cut of some of the limb from our pruning frenzy.  Here are some pics of what we've been up to this week:

This tree fell towards the Stake Center and missed our fence... crazy!

The lift we rented got stuck, but with the help some heavy equipment from Ken Millard and Rodarte, we got it out
